Avocado Green Mattress
- Code: ORGANIC10
- Discount: 10% off any mattress + free pillows
- Expires: May 31, 2025
- Restrictions: Cannot combine with financing offers
Avocado rarely drops below 10%. The code works on their GOTS-certified organic latex models. If you're in Columbus, stack it with their 1-year sleep trial—returns are free within Ohio.
Saatva
- Code: No code needed
- Discount: $400 off orders $1,000+
- Expires: Ongoing (flash sales may spike to $600)
Their base discount runs year-round. Watch for holiday spikes. White-glove delivery to Columbus includes mattress setup and old mattress removal—worth $150 when you lack truck access.
Bear Mattress
- Code: SLEEPBETTER35
- Discount: 35% off site-wide
- Expires: May 28, 2025 (Memorial Day sale)
Best deal this month for athletes or hot sleepers. Bear's Celliant cover and cooling foam handle Columbus's humid summers well. The 35% beats their usual 25% off.
Amerisleep
- Code: AS450
- Discount: $450 off + 2 free pillows (orders $1,500+)
- Expires: May 15, 2025
Amerisleep's Bio-Pur foam costs more upfront, but this coupon drops their AS3 (medium firm) below $1,200 for a Queen. Free pillows retail at $200.
How to Stack Mattress Discounts
Brands block coupon stacking, but you can layer other perks:
- Use cashback sites. Rakuten and TopCashback return 3–8% on mattress purchases. Apply your promo code, then click through their portal.
- Pay with rewards credit cards. Cards offering 2–5% on home goods (Chase Freedom, Amex Blue Cash) stack with manufacturer discounts.
- Time purchases around sales tax holidays. Ohio's next sales tax holiday: August 1–3, 2025. You'll save 5.75% on top of any active coupon.
- Ask for price matching. When a retailer (Macy's, Mattress Firm) carries the same brand, some match online-only deals and add their own financing.
Example: A $2,000 Saatva with $400 off, 5% Rakuten cashback, and 2% credit card rewards = $1,490 effective cost. You saved $510.
When Mattress Sales Actually Happen
Online brands run "sales" constantly. Real discounts spike three times per year:
- President's Day (February): 20–30% off, plus free accessories
- Memorial Day (May) and Labor Day (September): Deepest cuts, often 35–40%
- Black Friday (November): High percentages, but newest models excluded
Mid-month "flash sales" rarely beat holiday pricing. Shopping in May? This Memorial Day window is your best bet until September. Sleep Foundation's buying guide confirms these patterns across 10+ brands.
Red Flags: Fake Coupon Sites
Google "avocado mattress coupon code" and you'll hit dozens of SEO spam sites. Warning signs:
- Codes like "SAVE50" or "FREESHIP" that never work (bait for affiliate clicks)
- "Verified today" timestamps on 6-month-old codes
- No direct link to the brand—you're sent through multiple redirects
Trustworthy coupon pages link directly to the merchant and disclose when codes fail. Dead codes get removed within 24 hours here, and affiliate links are marked clearly.
Columbus-Specific Mattress Deals
Local stores sometimes beat online prices once you factor in delivery:
- Mattress Firm (Polaris, Easton): Price-match online coupons + 0% financing for 5 years. No shipping wait.
- American Freight (Morse Rd): Scratch-and-dent luxury models at 40–60% off. Inspect carefully for defects.
- Original Mattress Factory (Sawmill Rd): Factory-direct pricing, no coupons needed. Compare their Orthopedic line to Saatva for budget hybrids.
For online orders, all four brands ship free to Columbus zip codes. Saatva and Avocado include white-glove setup; Bear and Amerisleep deliver to your doorstep only.
How We Verify Coupons
Every code on this page has been:
- Applied at checkout on the brand's official site
- Tested within 48 hours of publication
- Cross-checked against Consumer Reports and brand email newsletters
We don't list "exclusive" codes that are actually public sitewide sales. When a discount auto-applies without a code, we mark it "no code needed."
Частые вопросы
Do mattress coupons work on sale items?
Usually no. Promo codes exclude clearance and already-discounted models. Bear and Amerisleep allow coupon stacking during holiday sales, but Avocado and Saatva block it. Check each brand's terms at checkout.
Can I use multiple coupon codes at once?
No brand allows multiple promo codes in one order. You can only enter one code per transaction. Automatic discounts (like free shipping or sitewide sales) will stack with a single coupon code, though.
How often do these codes change?
Holiday sales (Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday) last 3–7 days with fixed codes. Mid-month flash sales rotate every 24–72 hours. Evergreen codes like Avocado's ORGANIC10 renew monthly but keep the same discount rate. This page updates daily.
Are affiliate links more expensive for me?
No. Affiliate commissions come from the brand's marketing budget, not added to your price. The mattress costs the same whether you use our link or type the URL directly. We only earn when you complete a purchase.
What if my coupon code doesn't work?
Try these fixes: clear browser cookies, open an incognito window, or copy-paste the code instead of typing. Still failing? The code may have expired early. Email us at editorial@mattressmartcolumbus.com with the code and brand—we verify and update within 24 hours.
